Terra Aquaculture operates a state-of-the-art fishery focused on raising high-value species of fish which normally have limited distribution and seasonal supply. From its launch in 2005, Terra Aquaculture was the first company in Canada to be licensed and approved to grow warm-water, high-value food fish species. We are currently licensed to raise seven different species of fish, including Barramundi, Cobia, Florida Pompano, and Red Drum.
Our facilities include all tank, nursery, and grow out systems. We operate a recirculation facility which minimizes the impact to the environment, following Ministry of Environments guidelines. Our fish are raised in closed containment systems, inside well constructed buildings, with no chance of escape to receiving waters. In addition to industry-leading technology, we have a team of fisheries experts which enables us to offer our premium seafood products year-round with reliable volume.
We are strategically located in the Gold River region of British Columbia, which ensures optimal logistics supporting outbound shipment of farm-raised fish.
