Jody Boline
Jody Boline is the Sales Manager for Kingston & Associates Marketing LLC. He has been a part of the Kingston organization since 1987.
Jody manages the operating departments of KAM, including sales, procurement, transportation, customer service, and food safety. He also works on business development and national accounts programs.
Prior to Kingston, he worked for Apple Truck Lines and Austin Trucking in logistics. He graduated from Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota.
Jody is an accomplished triathlete and an avid runner. He also enjoys golf, skiing, swimming, and camping. He has two children, Caddie and Avery.
David Peterson
David Peterson has worked with Kingston Companies as an advisor since 2005. His focus is on the Company's operations in the sales and marketing of organically farmed fish. In addition, David advises the Companies on servicing the fresh produce retail and foodservice markets.
David has an extensive career in commercial agribusiness and produce. His most recent executive position was as Senior Vice President, Business Development, for SunWorld International. His experience also includes tenure as Vice President of Agriculture Operations for Cadiz, Inc., Chief Operating Officer of Fisher Procurement, Inc., and manager of all produce purchasing activities for Sysco Corporation.
David and his wife Angie live in Salinas, CA, and have three adult children. His hobbies include playing golf and riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
Richard Connelly
Richard Connelly joined the Kinston family in 1996. He leads our procurement office in Monterey, California. Richard's focus is on everything except potatoes, including our onion, lettuce, pineapple, broccoli, beans, romaine, spinach, and spring mix programs. Richard travels the world working with onion growers and shippers to make the Kingston onion program the best in the industry. He has a wealth of experience with over 28 years in the produce industry, starting in 1980 at the L.A. terminal market. He then started his own produce company in 1987, and after selling it, worked with Sysco and Produce America prior to joining Kingston.
Richard lives in Carmel, California with his sons Matthew and Nicholas. Richard is devoted to golf and enjoys walking his dog, Rico, on the beach. Despite living in California, his Boston roots are still strong, and he remains a loyal fan of the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Patriots. He enjoys working in the produce industry because of its close association to the land and honest, hard-working people.
Travis Hess
Travis Hess has been the Customer Service Supervisor since 2000. He joined Kingston in 1995 as Transportation Manager, and joined the Customer Service team in 1998. Hess is responsible for managing the team of Customer Service Representatives, scheduling distributor visits, and ensuring distributors are receiving quality service from Kingston.
Prior to joining Kingston, he worked at Martin Business Systems as a Sales Representative. Hess holds an A.A. degree from Ricks College, and a B.A. degree in Marketing from Utah State University.
Travis is an avid golfer and also enjoys fly-fishing. He and his wife, Shelley, have two children, a son, Andrew and daughter, Emma.
James Bauchman
James Bauchman is an accomplished executive with a seasoned track record of leadership for both public and private enterprises. Currently, James is Managing Partner of Bauchman-Kingston Partnership LP, a real estate development and property management company in the Southwest and West. In addition, James is a Development Partner for the Bonefish Grill division of OSI Restaurant Partners Inc., focusing on site development in Arizona and Nevada.
In 1994, James co-founded Fremont Telecom, a company he ran as President and General Manager until its sale to MCI in 2003. Earlier in his career, he was President and General Manager of Great Western Foods, and Vice President of Operations of Bonneville Construction, specializing in large installations of telecommunications equipment.
James holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from the University of Texas. He is a resident of Las Vegas, NV.
Charlie Howard
Charlie Howard is the General Manger for Associated Brokerage and Associated Trucking Companies. Established in 1987, Associated is one of the area's leading brokerage companies for the produce companies. Associated arranges for the transportation of a variety of freight throughout the United States on dedicated carriers or on our own company fleet.
Charlie oversees the daily operations of both companies. He started his career in transportation in 1977 with his own trucking company, which he sold in 1982. From 1982 to 1987 he worked for An-Tran Brokerage in Denver and Dallas, where he was vice president of operations. From 1987 to 1994, Charlie again operated his own trucking company, first in Phoenix and then in Idaho Falls. In 1994, Charlie closed down his own company and joined Associated.
Charlie and his wife Tina have a son Tyler, and two daughters Megan and Krista. He enjoys spending time in the mountains, fishing, and hunting.
Dean Armstrong
Using his extensive experience in the visual arts field and wide travel in South East Asia for a number of years, Dean has directed nearly all of Souls activities to date. Most of his time is spent in the field, networking and working closely with the partners, teachers and children who are the driving force of the foundation.
In 1989 Dean founded The Society for Tribal Children, which is dedicated to increasing the visibility of indigenous peoples by promoting public awareness of their lives and concerns. Dean has published two books of photographs with Pilgrims Press: The Spirit of Angkor, and Souls. He has also produced and directed a documentary film: Mississippi Catfish…Gots the Blues.
David Lightle
David Lightle is the Manager of Site Operations for LMS, which is a provider of labor and management services. LMS operates in conjunction with Muchalat Industries, Ltd., and Green Island Energy at the Gold River site in British Columbia. Additionally, David manages Nanaimo Wood Products Recycling, which is a subsidiary of Green Island Energy.
In these capacities, David oversees daily operations within the Muchalat/Green Island Energy enterprises. At present, much of his focus is on site preparation in order to ready the Gold River site for construction of the Green Island Energy power project. For Nanaimo, he is spending time procuring fuel supply contracts from the Regional Districts, and ensuring compliance with the relevant Municipal Solid Waste Plan.
Prior to his current role, David had a variety of related roles in construction and technology management, including being part of the design/project management team for NWC/Abugov Kaspar, which constructed a $38 million project in Calgary, Alberta. Earlier, he was a professional model in Europe, Asia, and the United States.
David studied Architectural Technology at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, and Marine and Port Security Management at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. He is currently studying Engineering and Technology Management at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
David and his wife Michelle have a 2-year old son, Preston. In his free time, David enjoys skiing, golf, and home renovation and improvement projects.
Larry Selig
Larry Selig is the General Manger of Kingston Cross Dock & Cold Storage. As GM, Larry oversees facility operations, marketing, inventory management, and business development.
Larry was born in London, England, and was raised outside of Detroit, Michigan. He has lived in Florida since 1987, working on the foodservice side of the industry. In 2001, he opened his own produce storage business, Pompano Produce Services. In 2007, he combined his company with Kingston, forming Kingston Cross Dock & Cold Storage International LLC.
